Anthony More, President

Anthony More, PresidentAn experienced information technology professional, Mr. More co-founded Genesis and is responsible for many of the innovative and key technologies that make the Genesis solution possible. He holds more than a dozen patents, with about 20 additional patents pending, in the fields of computer immunity and reliability.

A creative thinker equally at home with technology and detail, he found his passion in redesigning the way a computer works for the Internet age.

Mr. More cut his computing teeth on a Timex Sinclair computer at the age of 10. Programming and architecting led to an intense interest in technology and its practical applications, an interest that paid dividends early in his career.

As a general manager at a commercial real-estate enterprise. Mr. More leveraged computer technology throughout the organization to improve customer service and help grow the regional office from five to 35 agents.

He brought the same critical thinking to Biotech Journal, where he served as general manager from 1997 to 1999 and led the organization from a largely manual operation into a fully computerized set of business processes. He introduced computerization into the sales and finance departments as well.

Prior to founding Genesis Systems, Mr. More was an information technology manager for a private, K-8 school in San Francisco, where he managed a team of IT professionals and pioneered one of the first laptop-computer programs for elementary grade levels. He also deployed the first wireless network in a California school.

Mr. More holds a B.A. in English and creative writing from Colby College. In his spare time, he is an avid backpacker and enjoys spending time with his family.
